| It was a cool and overcast morning and the riders overcame rain and thunder to ride 45 minutes plus 5 lap course in Ninigret RI. The rain started heavily but tapered to nothing more than mist by mid race.

| Participating in this event were some familiar faces, Mike Cavros, Mike DeLessio and Ed Gong from the Aquidneck Bicycling Club and David Potter of the Ocean State Velo Club. These cyclists can usually be seen on the Tuesday night Ocean Drive rides in Newport RI or at the Lincoln Training Crits on Wednesday nights. | |||||||||
